TRAVEL RESOURCES
My belief is that every trip needs to be planned. I’ve planned and booked a lot of trips for myself, as well as tours for my clients while working at the travel agency. If you choose the right travel resources, then you can save time and money, plus a comfortable experience. So you can trust that I know where to find the best deals and options to choose from, where your travel experience can be a memorable one, as it has been, for myself, all the years I’ve been traveling around the world and have been using these same exact resources you see listed below.
So here are my favorite companies and travel websites which I personally use for my trip organizing and travel making. The choices below are 100% based on my personal experience which you can trust and use for yourself.
FLIGHTS
Skyscanner.com is my leader in finding flights. It compares thousands of routes and providers to find the best deals. I really love its feature the “cheapest month”, and you can also compare the prices every single day of the month in order to find the cheapest one.
Kiwi.com is also good for low budget tickets as it combines low-cost and regular flights into one ticket.
Cheapair.com. It has one of the best prices for traveling to/from America or flights in the USA, as it often offers special hot deals with flexible dates.
ACCOMMODATION
Booking.com. Is currently the most dynamically developed search engine where you can find not only hotels, but also hostels, apartments, and flats to rent. According to my personal experience, it has competitive prices and a very convenient search system.
Agoda.com is also an excellent website for booking Asia and India. Great choice of accommodation at reasonable prices.
Hotelscombined.com works similar to skyscanner.com, with a very convenient filter system and actual sorting by price.
RENT A CAR
Rentalcars.com combines all possible providers all around the world. It’s so easy and fun to rent a car and to explore a new country.
Sixt.com is one of my favorite rental a car in Europe. It offers quality service with a wide range of vehicles in 106 countries worldwide.
EXCURSIONS AND TOURS
Getyourguide.com and Viator.com are the top websites in my opinion to book excursions or tours in any country in the world. You can find both group and individual tours as well as transfers from the nearest airports. You can get started quickly, and also a great automated refund system if the excursion does not take place.
If you are unable to pay but want to learn more about the destination, check the website showaround.com, here you can contact locals who are ready to show you everything for a small amount or even for FREE!
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Booking travel insurance is the same integral part of every trip, as booking air tickets with accommodation. Worldnomads.com is the most trustable and recommended company by Lonely Planet and National Geographic, and of course, by myself. Trust you are in good hands!

TRANSPORTATION
Romeo2rio.com helps you to get from departure point A to arrival point B by bus, train, ferry, flight, or taxi. You just have to choose the most comfortable travel option.
I always choose raileurope-world.com for traveling on trains in Europe. It helps to find the best Eurail pass for me and has different discount programs.
If you travel around the Greek islands, ferriesingreece.com is a very useful website to book tickets for ferries.
OTHER FAVOURITES
If you are traveling to America, sightseeingpass.com is exactly what you need to see more and to pay less. Choose from 300 attractions in 12 US destinations and save your money and time.
Lonely Planet is a travel webbook, to which I research the areas I’m about to travel to. I love this website because of the amazing videos, and useful posts and tips I get, which covers each and every corner of the world.
If you are mainly traveling with a backpack, rei.com has everything you need. Their backpacks are of excellent quality and always chosen by the most experienced travelers.
For the rest of my travel purchases, I mostly use the infamous internet shop amazon.com, and believe me, you can find everything and at the best affordable prices.
Pinterest and Instagram are my favorite travel planning sites. Once you’ve got a destination in mind, go there to discover local travel tips and suggestions for your destination.
